A man impersonating a police officer was arrested by real cops after allegedly groping a teenage convenience store clerk, stealing a bottle of whiskey, then lingering to drink it at the scene of the crime.
Kittikorn Hinkong, 45, was taken into custody July 4 outside a Family Mart on Soi Buakaow where, just moments before, he’d allegedly accosted a 17-year-old clerk while claiming he was a police lieutenant.
Police didn’t have to go far to find Kittikorn Hinkong, as he at outside the shop drinking the whiskey while staring at the girl.
The teenager called her mother, claiming Kittikorn came into the shop under pretenses of a police investigation and searched the girl. She complained he ran his hands over her and lifted up her shirt before taking 300 baht and a bottle of Saengsom.
Police didn’t have to go far to find him, as Kittikorn sat outside the shop drinking the whiskey while staring at the girl.
