Pattaya sanitation workers know that heavy rainstorms will mean a busy day of work the next day, as was the case Sept. 29 when they again had to scoop up all the garbage left behind by another big flood.

A massive amount of rubbish washed onto the beaches following the big storm that left many streets under nearly a meter of water.
A crew of 10 hit Pattaya Beach early, collecting leaves, plastic bags, wood and even dead animals carried there by the runoff.
It was a scene sure to be repeated often until the end of the month when rainy season subsides.
