A foreign man who decided to set sail in Pattaya Bay on an inflatable mattress ended up needing a rescue.
The unidentified man, clad only in shorts and carrying no identification, was sprawled out on the air bed when Marine Safety Rescue Center officers Chaoat Buacharoen, Narin Yamdej and Kittichai Satuchart pulled up in their boat to retrieve him from near Koh Jun.
He was brought to shore near Soi 6.
