A foreign man died after jumping from the sixth floor of Central Festival Pattaya Beach.
The unidentified man in his 50s – identified by Thai media as being British – was spotted by a mall vendor climbing over a 1.5-meter railing. Sellers rushed over to talk him down but he had jumped by the time they arrived.
The victim died of catastrophic injuries including a broken neck and fractured skull.
Security guards had already moved him from the first floor escalator and covered the body with a sheet by the time authorities arrived.
His remains were sent to Pattaya Memorial Hospital for a forensic examination.
