A German man was killed when he crashed his large motorcycle into a car.
Robert Alois Achermann, 58, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident on Thepprasit Soi 5/1 April 27. He sustained injuries to the head and abdomen, broke several bones and had toes amputated when his Honda CBR 650cc smashed into a Ford Everest before sliding underneath a tour bus.
Honda driver Wittaya Chusriying, 33, said he was heading down towards Jomtien in his car before the big bike hit the front of his car. The German flew off and ended under a parked tour bus nearby.
