Police believe a German man found dead in a Walking Street hotel died of a long-running illness.
Hans Dieter Brien, 67, was discovered lying face down on his bed on the second floor of Hotel La Fontaine Dec. 11.
There were no signs of struggle in the room or injury to the body. A bottle of an undisclosed medication was found in the room, leading police to believe he was suffering from illness.
