A German man sustained critical injuries after his girlfriend allegedly stabbed him on Walking Street in a jealous rage.
Kanchayakorn Jantawong, 43, was restrained by bystanders and motorcycle taxi drivers June 26 as 59-year-old Joern Guenter Von Hedens fell to the ground, covered in blood.
He was treated for the non-fatal wounds at a local hospital.
Taxi driver Preecha Sribuaroey told police that he was nearby when he heard a scream and saw the Phetchabun native viciously attacking the German man with a pair of scissors and a knife.
Kanchayakorn told police she had been seeing the older man off and on for two years, but flew into a jealous rage when she saw him with another woman.
