A huge thanks to everyone who gave to our ‘Pampers Appeal’ in January. We received 142 packs or 7,160 individual pampers. The pampers came in all sizes and we will be using them to support poor or abandoned babies in the hospital, slums, prisons as well as supporting other charities such as the Oasis Center.
The Hand to Hand Foundation assists 66 needy families from 9 different slum areas throughout Pattaya every Friday. During the month of February we are aiming to collect 500 of each of the following items which will enable us to feed these families for 3 months: mama noodles, rice noodles, salt, oil, fish sauce and cans of sardines.
The food which is given every week is not enough to feed a family, however it does provide some essential cooking items, which often makes the difference between a family eating or going hungry some nights.
