Motorway fees on highways 7 and 9 will be waived for Songkran as the government’s New Year’s gift to drivers.
Transport Minister Arkhom Termpittayapaisith announced the April 11-18 fee waiver – something that has become an annual tradition – March 15. Among the many highways covered is the Bangkok-Chonburi Expressway and the Kanchanapisek Outer Ring Road.
