A northeastern woman trying to go home wound up in jail instead after being arrested for allegedly selling drugs to pay for a bus ticket.
Christ Phanthumart, 35, was captured in a June 21 sting operation on Soi Wat Boonkanchanaram 5. Police confiscated 0.38 grams of crystal methamphetamine.
Police said an informant told them Christ had contacted him via the Line messaging app to sell the ya ice for 1,000 so she could pay for a bus ticket back to Amnat Charoen.
Authorities were waiting when the two got together to make the deal.
