The Immigration Bureau launched an intensive hunt for fugitives and criminals for the holiday season.
Pol. Maj. Gen. Natapol Sawangkit of Immigration Police Division 3 dispatched 25 officers from Chonburi, Rayong, Samut Prakan, and Chanthaburi to join regular police from Pattaya, and the Tourist Police Division Dec. 23.
The campaign will run through Jan. 15.
The 85 total officers were ordered to maintain safety and security of the many tourists visiting Pattaya during the holidays and facilitate services for both foreigners and Thais.
