A Pattaya father climbed a tall billboard, shouting his intention to kill himself because he was offended by his son.
Identified only as Pattaraboon, 65, the man scaled a 15-meter-tall billboard on Thepprasit Soi 17 Sept. 19. Witness Jetsada Songsana, 64, said the man was shouting and threatening to jump.
When Jetsada asked Pattaraboon why he wanted to kill himself, the man said his son accused him of stealing his money.
The accusation so upset the Pattaraboon that he thought it would be best to orphan the grown up son.
Police eventually talked him down.
