Former Chonburi Gov. Wichit Chatpaisit continued monitoring progress on projects receiving funding from the Interior Ministry during a February inspection.

Chatpaisit, now inspector for the Interior Office and the ministry, met with Gov. Khomsan Ekachai to inquire into progress of the ASEAN Community Human Resources Development project and efforts to combat human trafficking.

Chatpaisit was continuing work begun in January.

The governor had provincial assembly members clarify policies and operational management and monitoring to ensure that officials at all levels do not get involved in trafficking.
