Police say an Irishman who died of a head wound in his central Pattaya hotel room likely slipped and fell.
Housekeepers found the body of Alan Patrick Mouncey, 38, around noon June 17 at a hotel on Soi 8. He was lying on his side in a bathroom bleeding from the head.
Hotel employees said Mouncey was last seen saying goodbye to a Thai woman in the lobby around 3 a.m. Security-camera footage showed no one entered the victim’s room after that.
Police speculate the Irishman must have slipped and hit his head in the middle of the night.
