A Nong Bua Lamphu woman was arrested for allegedly attacking an Italian man 36 years older than her with a nail-spiked plank.
Darunee Khayomdok, 21, was apprehended July 25 in Si Bun Rueang in her northeast home province over the long Buddhist Lent weekend. She had been on the run since October last year.
Police said Darunee confessed to charges she’d attacked 57-year-old Marco Pietta at his HP Apartments room in Pattaya last October. No motive was given for the attack.
Darunee Khayomdok has been brought back to Pattaya to face charges she beat an Italian tourist with a nail-spiked plank.
