Pictures portraying Koh Larn as the “Heaven of the East” won first place in Pattaya’s second-annual photo contest.
Professional photographer Sanchai Lungrung won 100,000 baht in the adult category for the aerial shot of the island he titled “Sawan Tawanork.” Student Chanyuth Kraisrisombut took the 50,000 baht first prize in the student category with “Koh Larn’s Transparent Water.”

In the adult category, second place went to Thittipong Sukhphaibunwat for a photo named “Wien Thien,” garnering him 50,000 baht. The third place photo, “Come Visit,” earned photographer Hansa Tungmunphuwadol 30,000 baht. There were 20 honorable mentions.
In the student category, second place and 20,000 baht went to Nutchnat Saensuk with a photo named “View Pattaya.” Third place was won by Thanipat Pheeromthukorn with a photo named “Relax.”
All the pictures are being exhibited at Central Festival Pattaya Beach and will be used to advertise Pattaya.
