The Lions Club of Pattaya-Banglamung donated nearly 100 pairs of eyeglasses to needy children at Pattaya School No. 6.
Top Lions Club and District 310C officials were joined by representatives of the Wat Thamsamakee Community and former Pattaya City Council members in the Feb. 7 donation organized under the Lions’ Sign First Project.
School Principal Prasert Pimolsakul thanked former councilman Banjong Banthoonprayuk, who also is a former district governor, Thanathan Pramulpong, Lions Club of Pattaya-Banglamung’s treasurer, and Pol. Lt. Col. Winai Jaidee of the Pattaya Police Station, and others for their donation.
The glasses given to students were created by Thongcharoen Eyeglasses Center.
