A Malaysian man who had six women and transvestites over to his hotel room complained to police afterward that he was robbed.
Teo Poh went to the Pattaya Police Station around 10 p.m. July 25, claiming a woman he met through the online chat application We Chat threatened him with an electric stun gun and colluded with three Laotians and two other Thais – including two ladyboys – to take 18,000 baht from him.
All the suspects – Patcha Chontanatisa, 32, Patara Pakdeekham, 28, Woranita Pansuree, 20, and Laotians Suksakorn Kaopnaya, 22, Singdala Wongsuwan, 28, and Boontanaom Lintakhan, 28 – voluntarily went to police to defend themselves, denying all the charges, saying they’d made an agreement with the Malaysian man to drink and party for 18,000 baht and that Teo had even come down to the lobby to see them off after their activities.
Patara, accused of wielding the stun gun, denied even having a Taser. She said they’d made a business agreement to come to the Baron Beach hotel near the police station and had held up their end of the bargain, only to see the Malaysia experience buyer’s remorse afterward.
