Police arrested a man who allegedly stole a mobile phone from a patient at Banglamung Hospital while posing as a visitor.
Prapas Sondee, 25, was captured in his Soi Kophai 5 apartment Oct. 15. Police said Prapas denied the theft until they found a receipt showing he’d recently sold a cellphone for 2,000 baht.
The suspect told police he’d wandered around the hospital, pretending to be a visitor there, until he could find something to steal and sell to feed himself.
