Sattahip police arrested 22 year-old Amarawadee Kaewwichien on suspicion of selling 12 bottles of vaping liquid from inside the cashier’s booth at a Bang Saray gas station.

Thailand’s upside down world – where marijuana is legal but vaping is not – played out in Sattahip again this week when police expended their resources to catch a woman selling e-cigarette liquid.

Amarawadee Kaewwichien, 22, was caught in a sting operation selling 12 bottles of vaping liquid from inside the cashier’s booth at a Bang Saray gas station. Police used three pre-registered 100-baht notes to buy the vaping liquid which implicated the vendor.

Sattahip police chief Pol. Col. Panya Damlek said the arrest was ordered after a local school complained about students vaping with suspicions, they bought the illegal e-cigarettes and supplies nearby.
