A motorcyclist was killed when a public minivan ran a red light on Sukhumvit Road.
Wuthipath Kongthae, 29, was pronounced dead at the scene of the Dec. 6 crash at the intersection of Sukhumvit Road and Chaiyapruek.
The driver of the Bangkok-Rayong passenger van, identified as Sronkiet Oomram, fled the scene.
Passengers in the wrecked van said Wuthipath was turning on to Sukhumvit from Soi Chaiyapruek when the minivan ran the light, striking him.
Then Sronkiet then lost control and crashed the minivan into a parked vehicle.
The driver of this van fled the scene after running a red light and killing a motorcyclist.
