A deejay who had his motorbike stolen turned over security camera footage of the thieves in hopes of getting his bike back.
Woraran Lertpimolthong, 32, said he only left his high-powered GPX racing-style motorbike locked outside a pet shop on Soi Boonsampan for about 30-45 minutes but returned to find it gone Feb. 23.
He was aware the pet shop had CCTV so he obtained a copy of the surveillance.
The video showed a couple in their 20s arrive and scope out the area. The male suspect left and returned in different clothes before using tools to hot-wire the GPX. It took only a few minutes for him to speed off on the stolen bike while his partner followed behind.
Woraran gave the footage to police as it clearly showed the suspects’ faces.
