A Thai motorcyclist died when he broke his neck in a collision with a utility pole in Jomtien Beach.
Somphan Janjring, 23, was pronounced dead on Jomtien Road near the Dongtan intersection Aug. 16. The Ubon Ratchathani native had his neck spun entirely around in the crash.
Witnesses reported that Somphan had been speeding toward Jomtien Second Road when he lost control and crashed into the electricity pole.
