An Uttaradit man died after crashing his motorbike into a car making an illegal U-turn in Najomtien.
Police were called to Jomtien Beach Road in front of the Now Hotel June 9 where they found the body of Pibun Yahan, 33. Nearby laid his crumpled Honda Wave motorbike and a Bangkok-registered Chevrolet compact driven by Pronjet Dangthong, 25, of Thepsathit.

Pronjet told police he was making a U-turn in the middle of Beach Road but didn’t see Pibun coming until it was too late. He was charged with reckless driving leading to death.
