Paramedics give emergency treatment to Tatchaphonsit after he drove his motorbike into the back of a parked taxi on the narrow 2nd road which has been under construction for the past 2 years.

A motorcyclist was severely injured after hitting a parked taxi in Pattaya.
Tatchaphonsit Jirasatirakul, 31, had unspecified injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital after the 3:30 a.m. crash on Second Road April 1.

A witness reported that Tatchaphonsit was driving down Second Road near the entrance to Soi 13/2 and simply drove into the back of a parked metered cab occupied by driver Surin Khaosaard, 66.

The motorcyclist ended up in the hospital. The taxi suffered a broken taillight.
Second Road has been under construction for the past two years and the road is narrow and pockmarked with ditches and road barriers, compounded with bad or no warning signs make for very hazardous driving conditions. Vehicles parked on the narrow road present a danger to passing traffic.
