Muang District administrators were given a briefing on the operations of the Chonburi Internal Security Operations Center at a regular sub-district and village chiefs meeting.

Muang District Chief Sirath Prasobnet chaired the July 4 meeting of district administrators, sub-district chiefs and deputies, village chiefs and sub-district medical practitioners.

The seventh meeting of the year was a forum for sub-district officials to publicize happenings in their neighborhoods. Worapong Maneechot also was named assistant village chief of Angsila Moo 1.

The rest of the meeting was a background briefing on the Chonburi ISOC division headed by Col. Tatsanai Prathumthong.

ISOC was founded during the deadly 2011 riots in Bangkok to ensure security by clamping down on political groups and has never been disbanded. The junta, upon seizing power in 2014, has given the military unit sweeping powers to enforce unity in society.
