Authorities arrested a Myanmar man allegedly selling outlawed shisha tobacco in South Pattaya.

Banglamung security officers and soldiers on patrol Nov. 24 came across Na Yan, 23, who had 17 shisha pipes and 6.7 kilograms of flavored, untaxed tobacco.

Na told police that he was hired by a local bar owner for 300 baht a day to rent pipes and sell shisha. However, he claimed he didn’t know it was illegal.
