Police will step up patrols around an abandoned North Pattaya office building being used as a nest for drug addicts and the homeless.
Police inspected the former real estate office on North Road May 4 following complaints that youths and homeless people had been squatting there and doing drugs.
The two-story, double shophouse was in shambles, with broken windows, doors and floor tiles. Used condoms and old clothing were scattered about.
Police said they will keep a closer eye on the building to keep squatters away.
