The Kophai Community lent its award-winning expertise in battling drugs at the neighborhood level to delegation from a central Thailand sub-district.
Community President Wirat Joyjinda welcomed the 50-person study group from Nongben in Nakon Sawan led by Mayor Jomnien Raksajan.
Wirat made a presentation on how Kophai has used the Mother of the Land Fund to create a grass-roots anti-drug program that has won the Pattaya neighborhood national accolades.
The study group contributed of 2,140 baht to support the Kophai program, which steers youths away from drugs through activities ranging from sports to vegetable planting to vocational training.
