The Royal Thai Navy has had a busy April, busting 12 Vietnamese fishing boats illegally trawling Thai waters this month.

Vice Adm. Rangsarit Sattayanukul on April 18 sent the HTMS Kantang to impound another Vietnamese boat. It turned out to be one of four stealthily working Thai waters near Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. Only one of the boats was captured, however, with five crewmen arrested.

To date in April, the navy has seized 12 boats and arrested 107 crewmembers, Rangsarit said.
