Navy’s ACDC parades sailors, armaments

The Royal Thai Navy’s Air and Coastal Defense Command showed off its readiness for battle with a parade of troops, vehicles and artillery weapons.

ACDC commander Rear Adm. Noppadon Suphakorn reviewed the 600 troops as they marched with 62 vehicles and 28 armaments at the ACDC’s headquarters in Sattahip.

The first parade regiment consisted of the 1st Anti-Aircraft Artillery Regiment with eight paired antiaircraft guns and four Director 5-M1s.

The second group was comprised of sailors and armaments from the 2nd Anti-Aircraft Artillery Regiment with two 40/70 mm anti-aircraft guns, two Flycatchers, six 40/60 mm anti-aircraft guns, and a pair of shoulder-fired missiles.

The third parade regiment consisted of Coastal Guards 1, and sponsoring departments parading six 155 mm guns with curved shells and six 130 mm guns with straight shells on 16 low trailers.

Sailors and equipment from the ACDC made of the next group, with two radar masters and two 550 Bo-A patrol radars.
