Pattaya has created U-turns in front of two area temples to reduce the number of accidents there.
The streets in front of Jittapawan and Chonglom temples were considered two of eight high-risk stretches of road in Pattaya. Engineers placed concrete barriers to create protected turn lanes and painted the street with U-turn signs.
The roadwork was done quickly to be ready for the busy Songkran traffic season.
