Nong Plalai kids learned about dengue fever and how to prevent catching the potentially deadly virus.
The Public Health and Environment organized the July 25 class for 100 students at Wat Nongketnoi School.
Dengue fever has infected 49,174 Thailand residents through July 18, killing 64 of them, double the fatalities in the same period in 2018.
Many of the patients were children younger than 15, due to the frequency of which they play outside and near water where dengue-carrying mosquitos breed.
