Nong Plalai’s Leam Heang-Suksomboon Road was given a much-needed facelift following months of complaints about its dilapidated surface.
Sub-district Mayor Pinyo Homklan and top deputies were on hand as workers from the Chonburi Engineering Department began ripping up the old pavement Nov. 13.
The four-kilometer road’s foundation would then be repaired and a new concrete road poured and leveled.
The entire project was expected to take no more than a week.
