Dozens of Nongprue Sub-district residents made merit and got a free lunch by donating blood to Queen Savang Vadhana Memorial Hospital.
Nongprue Mayor Mai Chaiyanit and Lions Club of Pattaya-Nongprue hosted the Sept. 27 blood drive at the sub-district’s administrative office. Doctors and nurses from the Sriracha hospital collected 23,800cc of blood.
A good citizen donates blood to the Red Cross in Nongprue.
Lions President Bodintan Hirintranukul said the club arranged 200 boxed lunches for those who rolled up their sleeves to make merit, as well as hospital staff.
Deputy Mayor Suwach Rachatawattanagul said Nongprue organizes blood drives twice a year to help hospitals and offer residents merit-making opportunities.
