Nongprue’s Social Welfare Division and the Paidi Institution screened children with delayed development handicaps and donated equipment to aid their progress at the Baan Nong Hin Child Development Center.
Yongyod Kodputhorn, field manager for the Institution, led the follow-up observation and screening for sub-district children Feb. 15. Parents and guardians were given training on helping to forward the lives of children suffering delayed development and gave equipment to assist them.

Delayed development covers a range of conditions faced by children, including congenital defects, birth defects caused by poor prenatal health or behavior by the mother, complications during birth, illness suffered in the initial weeks after birth, or malnutrition.
