Business owners, residents and fellow officers welcomed Pol. Col. Chitdecha Songhong as the new Nongprue police chief.
The new superintendent greeted well-wishers at a March 21 welcoming party.
Chitdecha was formerly deputy crime suppression chief at Chonburi Police. His background has been in the special crime suppression operations for Region 2 Police, AKA ‘Mue Praab’, which means ‘Buster’. He was once head of Special Crime Suppression.
Chitdecha thanked everyone for the welcome and stated that he was pleased to be located in Nongprue and happy to serve area residents.
He added that he will do his best in offering services, supporting residents and making them feel safe at all times. He will make sure that Nongprue Police are on-call at all times and also urged all residents to report any suspicious activities.
