Northern culture showcased at Lanna Expo Caravan

Central Festival Pattaya Beach showcased the traditional culture of northern Thailand at a Lanna Expo Caravan.

The Sept. 26-28 fair was sponsored by the Pattaya Business & Tourism Association and groups representing Chiang Mai, Lamphun, Lampang and Mae Hong Son provinces. Chiang Mai Deputy Gov. Chana Pangpibul and Taratip Meelaksana from the Chonburi Tourism & Sports Association emceed the event.

The Lanna Expo Caravan featured hotels, tour programs, community products, traditional handcraft, health services and more. The objective of the event was to promote Thailand tourism, both domestic and international, and learn the beauty and tradition of Thailand’s four northern provinces.

Thirty booths demonstrated sales and contracts of products, tour promotions, presentations and more. There was also a traditional Lanna dance show that attracted the crowd.
