Rescue experts had to be called after a Pattaya mother locked her small child in her car, then lost the keys.
Sawang Boriboon Foundation officers arrived at a car parked near the entrance of Soi Khao Noi Oct. 29 to find a four-door Mitsubishi pickup truck sealed up. Inside was a crying toddler while its mother tried to sooth the upset youngster.
It took about 30 minutes, but the vehicle was opened without incident.
The mother said she had gone to see her sister and realized she had lost her house keys. She stopped the truck and stepped out to look for them and accidentally closed the door, locking herself out.
