Nongrue brought out the heavy machinery to clear Pattanakan Road of traffic-inducing sand.
Sub-district enginnering chief Thongchai Kamlangthai dispatched workers to the Pattanakarn Soi 8 intersection April 30 following complaints about sand blocking traffic.
The sand ended up in the street after being washed down by heavy rain and after a 10-wheeled truck spilled a load of soil. The operation took about an hour allowing traffic to run smoothly again.
