Pattaya is installing reflective safety barriers along the winding road leading up Pratamnak Hill to the Naval Radio Station viewpoint.
Chaowarit Jariyayanyong, head of traffic and transport design, led the July 13 operation on the steep slope where drivers unfamiliar with the route could be involved in an accident.
Work to install the safety-roller barriers is about 80 percent complete and is expected to be done by mid-August.
