In the Bangkok metropolitan area and its vicinity, the weather is generally hot with some thunderstorms occurring in about 10% of the area.
The Meteorological Department forecasts low atmospheric pressure due to the prevailing heat covering the upper parts of Thailand. This condition results in generally very hot weather across the country, accompanied by haze during midday. People are urged to take care of their health during this extremely hot weather and avoid prolonged outdoor activities. Additionally, precautions are advised for the northern and northeastern regions due to the possibility of thunderstorms, strong winds, and falling debris, as well as potential lightning strikes.
As for the southwestern and southeastern winds covering the Andaman Sea, the southern region, and the Gulf of Thailand, some areas in the south are experiencing scattered thunderstorms. Wave heights are around 1 meter in the affected areas, with some areas experiencing higher waves. Mariners are advised to avoid sailing in areas with thunderstorms.
In Bangkok and its vicinity, the weather is generally hot with haze during midday, and some areas are experiencing very hot weather. There’s a 10% chance of thunderstorms, with temperatures ranging from 28-30 degrees Celsius in the early morning and reaching 35-40 degrees Celsius during the day.
