Pattaya beer bar raided for after-hours partying

Pattaya police raided the Kok Moo bar on Soi Siam Country Club for operating after legal hours.

Pattaya-Nongprue police detained 28 people when they raided an East Pattaya beer bar open past legal hours.


Nongprue police chief Pol. Col. Chidecha Songhong led officers to the Kok Moo bar on Soi Siam Country Club at about 12:45 a.m. Feb. 10, nearly two hours after the bar was supposed to close under the current coronavirus emergency decree.


Inside the bar, patrons and staff were drinking and singing as if it was 2019. All were told to put on face masks while police checked identification and for drugs and weapons.
