Bikers will celebrate 20 years of Pattaya Bike Week (formerly Burapa Bike Week) Feb. 17-18 in Pattaya.

Prasan Nikaji, president of the Siam Motorbikes and Burapa Bike Club, announced the theme of this year’s expo at the Eastern National Indoor Sports Stadium – “Follow the King: Peace, One World” – at a Feb. 2 planning meeting.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the motorcycle show and is dedicated to HM the late King. In addition to the usual displays, shows and concerts, it will feature a memorial service to HM King Bhumibol.

Bike lovers and enthusiasts from around the nation will attend and bikers will ride through Pattaya on the annual “ride for peace” to raise funds for charity.

Activities will be similar to last year’s event, with booths of different bike clubs, featuring the Hells Angels, the Asian Nomads and other well-known clubs. Other highlights will include bike stunts; coyote dance shows and classic car/bike shows.

At the meeting, organizers mapped out details on traffic support, facilities, toilets, security and more.
