Representatives from 38 Pattaya neighborhoods were polled on their current living conditions and expectations for the future as the city ramps up for a broader survey.
Deputy Mayor Wutisak Rermkitkarn presided over the Jan. 25 meeting at Pattaya City Hall to prepare village chiefs and community leaders on the 2012-2015 Living Quality Standards Survey. In addition to learning about the city’s plans to query residents, they also were given a short forum to detail problems and complaints.

The periodic survey aims at estimating the base minimum standard for quality of life and to invite residents to take a part in resolving problems jointly with government.
