Pattaya officials thanked the press for their dedication and hard work throughout the years at a New Year’s party.
Mayor Poramet Ngampichet, city council members and bureaucrats attended the Jan. 31 bash at the Hollywood Pub with local reporters and editors.
The party was organized to thank all of the press for publicizing news and information and drawing tourist interest in the city. It also aimed to build good relations between Pattaya executives and the media.
Journalists enjoyed a meal and won prizes in a lucky draw. Amongst the raffle prizes were also some cash prizes donated by the mayor, council members and business leaders.
