Mayor Poramet Ngampichet surrounded by elected and appointed city administrators hits the huge gong to declare open the redeveloped city hall branch facility.

Pattaya officially opened its renovated administrative office on Koh Larn.
Mayor Poramet Ngampichet cut the ribbon on the redeveloped facility Oct. 4 surrounded by elected and appointed city administrators.
Nine monks from Yai Samran Temple were invited to chant Buddhist stanzas for prosperity.

The Koh Larn administration building was built a decade ago but, like so many Pattaya infrastructure projects, was not maintained. The city finally spent 14.7 million baht to rebuild the dilapidated facility.
Koh Larn’s “city hall” has four large workrooms for bureaucrats, private officers for Koh Larn’s top administrators and a medical emergency room as well as all-new public restrooms.
The office will be open to the public seven days a week.
