Pattaya City Prepares for New Year – Focus on unpaid fines and emergency protocols

Pattaya City reviews fines, enhances outsourcing duties, and preps for holiday emergencies.

PATTAYA, Thailand – Deputy Mayor Wuttisak Rermkijakarn chaired a meeting held in collaboration with the administrative division, the city clerk’s office, city executives, department heads, and relevant personnel, aimed to address key administrative issues.

The agenda included a progress report on contacting 46 individuals who have not yet settled their fines for November 2024. The administrative division has prepared and dispatched letters to registered addresses, notifying residents to settle their outstanding fines promptly.



Additionally, the meeting emphasized the responsibilities of outsourced staff and outlined operational guidelines for handling emergencies during the “10 Dangerous Days” of the New Year holiday, from December 27, 2024, to January 5, 2025.

These efforts aim to align with Pattaya’s role as a tourist destination, improve the quality of life for its residents, and enhance the city’s image.
