Pattaya council Oks 26.9 billion baht for public works

The Pattaya City Council approved spending of 25.9 million baht for 21 public works projects originally approved last year.

The money was held back from the 2015 city budget for the public works projects, only three of which were actually started.

The council approved spending of 1.6 million of the 2015 funds to complete the three ongoing projects, but declined to put money into the other 22 projects this year. The 24.3 million baht will be added to the 2017 budget and the projects started then.
