Residents complaining about the ongoing construction in Thepprasit Road have been told to be patient as the work is not finished and that the protruding drain covers will be level with the road when done.

Deputy Mayor Manote Nongyai told Pattaya residents complaining about Thepprasit Road to be patient: The work isn’t finished.

People have moaned about new sewer grates and manhole covering being about five centimeters above the road surface in the left lane, which could cause accidents.

Manote asked people to remain calm, that the work was not done yet. First the new drainage system was installed and the sewer grates laid. Next the entire street will be repaved. Once that’s done, the surface will be flat again.
